The university operates under the official accreditation of the International Education Accreditation Commission (IEAC). The IEAC serves as a globally recognized quality assurance body that evaluates institutions against specific criteria. To maintain this status, Newstate University must demonstrate adherence to rigorous standards of academic quality and institutional effectiveness.

We are committed to delivering industry-driven curriculum designed to meet today’s workforce demands, rather than outdated academic models. Our university certificates build right into our degrees, and many courses and certificates include key study guides for other, industry-recognized certifications (for which we also provide transfer credit).

Transfer and Articulation

Newstate University also works with transfer credit partners, should you wish to transfer your credits into a different program towards a degree at these institutions, which have U.S. regional accreditation.

Where We Operate

Newstate University offers fully online certificates and degrees to equip learners with future-forward skills that unlock career opportunities. We currently confer degrees and college credit in:

  • Utah (our home state of registration)
  • Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee

We also offer non-credit learning nationally, which can stack right into our degrees in the states in which we can operate.

Regulatory Information

Newstate University is registered under the Utah Postsecondary Proprietary School Act (Title 13, Chapter 34, Utah Code), allowing us to operate as a postsecondary institution in Utah.

Note: This registration does not mean the State of Utah supervises, recommends, or accredits our institution. Transferability of credits is determined by the receiving institution, regardless of accreditation status.
