Understanding group enrollment and customization options for business-focused professional development programs

Overview

The Professional Development Studio (PDS) serves as Newstate University's non-credit division, delivering practical skills training through a structured system of micro-courses and certificates. The curriculum focuses on high-demand areas including:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Business Operations
  • Customer Experience
  • Leadership Development
  • Marketing Strategy
  • Product Management
  • Project Management

Program Structure

All of our learning experiences "stack", from a micro-course all the way to our MBAi (our MBA with a focus on Artificial Intelligence in a practical, applied way).

  • Micro-course: our basic unit of learning with 30-45 content hours
  • Micro-certificate: consists of three micro-courses on a specific topic
  • Full professional development program: brings together three micro-certificates for in-depth skill development
  • All components stack towards credit-bearing credentials.

Enrollment and Group Options

We have multiple options for businesses seeking in-depth professional development:

  • Individual self-paced learning (via employer pay or via employer reimbursement)
  • Cohort-based group enrollment
  • Customized projects and assessments built right into the courses
  • Additional facilitation by highly qualified professionals in the field
  • Synchronous sessions

We can also provide course licensing within our environment.
